The Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) is the world’s largest academic clinical research organization. Our mission is to develop, share, and implement knowledge that improves health around the world through innovative clinical research. Through a unique partnership between practicing physicians and professional research staff, the DCRI conducts groundbreaking multinational trials, manages major national patient registries, and performs landmark research. The breadth of our work is matched by the depth of our knowledge, which we disseminate through high-impact publications and global meetings. DCRI faculty and staff have authored over 16,000 peer-reviewed publications and been cited in over 760,000 scientific articles since the Institute’s founding 25 years ago.
