Hellenic Cardiological Society
The Hellenic Cardiological Society (HCS) is an nonprofit organization established in September 7th, 1948. The Society has approximately 2500 members. The major goals of the Society are the continued education of Cardiologists and Fellows, promoting awareness, prevention, advocating activities directly related to clinical practice as well as research. The Hellenic Journal of Cardiology, indexed in PubMed, is the official Journal available online at www.hcs.gr. The HCS / Cyprus Society chapter' main goal is to promote awareness of cardiovascular diseases in both countries.
