The John Welsh Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory at the Department of Pediatrics (Cardiology), Baylor College of Medicine specializes in clinical genetic testing for a broad range of cardiovascular diseases and connective tissue disorders. Most of our tests are full gene analysis by DNA sequencing (Sanger or Next Generation Sequencing, NGS). Our services include gene sequencing, prenatal diagnosis, carrier testing, mutation confirmations, and viral detection.
