CRF designs and sponsors numerous educational meetings, workshops, symposia, and expert panels including the annual
Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference. Clinical training sessions provide hands-on training in advanced interventional therapeutics such as controversies in interventional cardiology, vascular brachytherapy, distal protection devices, adjuvant drug therapies, arteriotomy closure devices, carotid stenting, and management of peripheral vascular disease.
Since its inception in 1991, CRF has played a major role in realizing dramatic improvements in treating heart disease by establishing the safe use of new technologies, drugs, and therapies in interventional cardiovascular medicine.
