This Virtual Reality Room invites learners to experience a virtual world illustrating the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). Through this sensory-immersive experience, a series of virtual reality animations will allow learners to explore the causes of FH, look at the burden of FH on patients and family, understand the pathways implicated in the disease (LDL-receptor dependent and independent), and visualize the mechanisms of action for current and emerging therapies for patients with this difficult-to-treat condition.
