SCAD Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization advancing the science of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) through our independent multi-center iSCAD Registry, coordinated by Boston-based PERFUSE Study Group. SCAD is a nonatherosclerotic cause of acute coronary syndrome, heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest. iSCAD Registry has enrolled 942 SCAD patients at 20 participating sites across the U.S. to date.
The SCAD Alliance mission is to be the leader in advancing the science of SCAD and educating key audiences about its diagnosis and treatment.
