Fees
The fee charged is per event request. Registration fees are nonrefundable and charged upon event approval. Please note that all credit card payments will be assessed a non-refundable 3% processing fee at the time the charge is processed.
Public service organizations (non-profits and universities) will be charged $150.00 for any type of non-CME/CE satellite event.
NEW! Registration fees for non-CME/CE satellite events being held within ExpoSuite space will be waived (with the exception of Non-CME/CE Educational Events—no educational symposia/sessions of any kind will be permitted in the ExpoSuites area).
Non-CME/CE Satellite Event Categories
Focus Groups/Market Research — $500.00
Includes events that target a specific group of attendees to obtain specific data and/or events that are a collaborative effort of information gathering and sharing among peers. These are closed, invitation-only events. If Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) will be participating in an event, that event would be classified as a KOL Event, and will be charged the fee and must follow all guidelines for that type of event. Participation for these events is limited to 50 attendees.
Hospitality Suites — $500.00
Function space used as a base to greet invited attendees and/or provide a lounge to them and company personnel.
Hospitality/Social Functions — $750.00
Receptions, meet and greet functions, breakfasts or dinners, and other meetings where there is no CME/CE credit offered or non-CME/CE educational programming (as defined below). If held in conjunction with a Non-CME/CE Educational Event, this event would be classified as such, and will be charged the fee and must follow all guidelines for a Non-CME/CE Educational Event. If held in conjunction with a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Event, this event would be classified as such, and will be charged the fee and must follow all guidelines for a KOL event.
Investigator Meetings and Updates/Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Events — $1,000.00
Includes advisory boards, consultant forums, conference debrief meetings, investigator meetings, competitive intelligence activities and all activities involving KOLs. Investigator Meetings and Updates are closed, invitation-only events for investigators who are an integral part of a clinical trial or study (design, protocol, analysis, etc.) and who have been privy to the data. KOLs are defined as physicians who influence their peers’ medical practice, including, but not limited to, prescribing behavior. Participation for these events is limited to 50 attendees.
Media Events — $1,000.00
News conferences, product previews and/or interviews that are directed to the news media where information about a company’s products, services, research findings or studies is released. Please note: No information may become public until the time of the presentation at ACC.10, the i2 Summit or ACC-sponsored press conference (see Embargo Policies for more information).
Non-CME/CE Educational Events — $1,000.00
Any activity that does not offer CME/CE credit, but includes formal presentations, speakers, equipment demonstrations or procedural instruction. If attendance is limited to staff of the company holding the event, this event will be classified as a Staff/Company/Board Meeting.
Staff/Company/Board Meetings — $250.00
Attendance is limited to the staff of the company (exhibiting company, university, non-profit organization) holding the event. These meetings cannot include ACC Annual Scientific Session and/or i2 Summit attendees unless the individual is an employee of the company holding the event, or sits on the board of said company.
