NEW! Hybrid Cath Lab/OR Suite and 3D CV Theater

Don’t miss an exciting new feature at ACC.10—the Hybrid Cath Lab/OR Suite and 3D CV Theater! Interventionalists, cardiac surgeons and general cardiologists will want to plan to spend time in this multi-modality room designed to allow a variety of integrated surgical and endovascular procedures. Located on the Expo floor in Hall B4, this interactive, multi-vendor exhibit will allow attendees to get a first-hand look at cutting-edge technologies, while the adjacent 3D CV Theater features video presentations of cases and discussions with physicians currently performing procedures in hybrid suites around the country.

NEW! VIP Member Lounge

Located in the front of Hall B2 on the Expo floor, the VIP Member Lounge will be open to ACC members only during all Expo Hall hours. Members will have the opportunity to relax and network, check their e-mails and enjoy coffee during the Sunday and Monday Expo/Poster hours. This new area will draw ACC member attendees to the Expo floor—and your booth.

NEW! "The Trialist Is In" Sessions

ACC.10/i2.10 attendees will have the chance to interact with late-breaking clinical trial investigators during the new "The Trialist Is In" round-table discussions. These discussions will be held Sunday, March 14, and Monday, March 15, during the afternoon Expo Hall Break (3:30-4:30 p.m.) in Expo Hall B2, adjacent to the new VIP Member Lounge. These informal, non-CME sessions will afford attendees a chance to ask more in-depth questions of trialists who have presented their late-breaking clinical trials earlier in the day. This activity is anticipated to drive attendance to the Expo hall, as it draws a crowd to "touch the sleeve of the master."

Heart Songs Learning Lab

In the Heart Songs Learning Lab, located adjacent to the Expo floor, attendees can improve their cardiac auscultation skills by listening to heart sounds on an iPod while viewing supplementary material on poster boards. NEW! Video heart songs—a unique, visually engaging way to learn cardiac auscultation using an iPod Touch. Basic and advanced levels—including new murmurs to challenge advanced learners. PLUS! A new 2-D echocardiography training program. Attendees use the iPod Touch to view basic 2-D echo images emphasizing normal left ventricular function. Pre- and post-tests.

i2 Summit Simulation Stations

The i2 Summit is excited to offer hands-on simulation for i2 and Full Access attendees at the Simulation Stations, located in the i2 Interventional Pavilion in Expo Hall B2. This is an excellent opportunity for Fellows-in-Training to gain hands-on experience, but this training is available to all interested interventionalists. Attendees can get trained on procedures including coronary, carotid, renal and SFA/iliac interventions. Attendees will also have an opportunity to sit in on didactic sessions in coronary, carotid, renal and SFA/iliac interventions scheduled prior to each hands-on training session.

Publishers Showcase*

The Annual Scientific Session Exposition will continue to offer the Publishers Showcase, where publishers of medical texts and other relevant material may display their products. Individual book sales may be made from these exhibits. The ExpoGuide, which is included in every attendee’s portfolio bag and in publication bins at each entrance to the Expo, will highlight the pavilion as an opportunity for an attendee to round out his or her educational experience.
