Satellite Events/Symposia
The American College of Cardiology (ACC) only allows ACC.08 exhibiting companies, non-profit organizations and universities affiliated with or supported by exhibiting companies to request approval to hold satellite events in conjunction with ACC's 57th Annual Scientific Session.
Event Definitions
Educational Symposia: Any activity that includes formal presentations, equipment demonstrations or procedural instruction will be regarded as educational and will be subject to the educational session restrictions.
Hospitality/Social Functions: Receptions, dinners, etc., where there is no educational programming. These functions may be held in conjunction with an educational program or independently. If held in conjunction with an educational program, all restrictions and guidelines for the educational program apply.
Focus Groups/Market Research/Investigator Meetings: Meetings (usually less than 50 participants) that target a specific group of attendees to obtain specific data.
Staff/Company/Board Meetings: Attendance is limited to exhibiting company staff only. These meetings cannot include ACC.07/i2 attendees.
Application Deadline
Acceptance of Applications will begin September 24. The final deadline to submit a Satellite Event Request Form to the ACC for approval is Friday, February 15, 2008. Please Note: you may wish to apply early, as function space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
