Other Areas of Interest on the Show Floor
Electronic Health Records (EHR) Pavilion
ACC.08 will feature a dedicated exhibit area on the show floor for companies offering technologies and services designed to automate and streamline the clinician’s workflow. Space in the EHR Pavilion is limited and the ACC.08 Priority Point system will apply. Refer to the floor plan online at www.expo.acc.org or the hard copy provided at the back of the Prospectus, and note on your Application & Contract if you would like to be assigned a space in this area.
ExpoSuites
During the Exposition, exhibitors may rent modular meeting space located in Hall A1 on the expo floor. The ExpoSuites are a convenient place for exhibitors to hold staff meetings, meet privately with potential clients, conduct investigator meetings or host hospitality events. No educational symposia/sessions or product display/demonstrations will be permitted in this area.
ExpoSuites are available in various space sizes, and are an opportunity offered only to exhibiting companies. All ExpoSuites come with basic furnishings including carpet, table(s), chairs and company identification signs. Exhibitors are responsible for ordering electrical power, office equipment, phones, Internet, catering, etc.
Exhibitors interested in ordering ExpoSuites should indicate their interest on their Application & Contract. ExpoSuite information including rates and furnishing packages will be sent to all exhibiting companies in October 2007.
Exhibitors that order ExpoSuites will receive a separate ExpoSuite Service Kit that includes all the forms needed to order additional services, furnishings, etc. Exhibitors may request ExpoSuite space using the ExpoSuite Application & Contract which will be mailed to all contracted exhibitors in October. ExpoSuite space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interventional Pavilion
A dedicated exhibit area will be reserved on the show floor for cardiovascular interventional companies. Space is limited and the ACC.08 Priority Point system will apply. Please be sure to review the floor plan online or the hard copy provided at the back of the Prospectus, and note on your Application & Contract if you would prefer a booth assignment in this area.
Knowledge Exchange Center
NEW! ACC.08 will feature an interactive learning area on the exhibit floor adjacent to the Poster Sessions area. This Knowledge Exchange Center will provide attendees opportunities for self-directed and hands-on learning and will include simulation training stations and the Heart Song
s learning lab. More information about this exciting new area will be sent to exhibiting companies this fall.
Publishers’ Showcase
The Annual Scientific Session Exposition will continue to offer the Publishers’ Showcase, where publishers of medical texts and other relevant material may display their products. Individual book sales may be made from these exhibits. Publishers are encouraged to reserve space early as space assignments in this area will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to note on your Application & Contract if you would prefer a booth assignment in this area, as space is limited.
